It turns out that Spoon and King disliked playing for Hobbs. Who wouldn't? Everyone from Maurice Rice to Saint King have now complained about Hobbs on some level. It is clear that Hobbs runs a tight ship on the court, however you have a problem when such a wide array of players seem to hate playing for you. A coach needs players who are willing to go to war for him.....
Now that King is free of Hobbs' shackles, he is shooting over .500 from 3 point land. He also leads UMBC in scoring at 14.1 ppg which is up from last year when he averaged 2.8 ppg (for GW).
